"Claim approval felt fair to me"
I put in a claim for my dishwasher and wasn’t totally sure how it was going to go. I’ve always felt like if something is clearly covered in the plan, it should be approved, and this kind of confirmed that for me. Choice Home Warranty reviewed the issue and ended up approving the repair, which seemed fair based on what my plan says.
It wasn’t perfect since it took a couple days for things to really get moving, but I can live with that. The main thing is I didn’t get the feeling they were looking for a reason to avoid the claim, and that matched what I was hoping to see.

Their contractor showed up quick, seemed like he really knew his stuff, and got my AC fixed without any drama. Sorta just an easy, straightforward experience.

i talked to their sales team and they explained the plan in a way that actually made sense. the pricing and fees were laid out clearly, which i appreciated, and i never felt like they were rushing me into a decision. i had a couple of questions too, and they answered them directly. so far, the signup process has been easy and straightforward.

I kind of jumped on this without reading all the fine print, and then I was like, wait, some things aren’t covered? That was a little annoying in the moment. But even with the exclusions, it still ended up helping me, so I can’t complain too much. Just definitely skim the details before you go for it.

"Got the diagnosis right the first time"
I put in a claim for my AC and the tech Choice sent out figured it out fast. I thought it was the thermostat, but he checked everything, checked it again, and said it was the capacitor. Turns out he was right because once he swapped the part, the unit kicked right back on. It was nice not dealing with a bunch of guessing or another visit. Happy with how it went and really glad the diagnosis was right the first time...

"Had to Escalate It, but It Got Fixed"
It took longer than I expected and I had to push the issue a bit before it really got attention, but once it was escalated, they finally took care of it. Not the smoothest experience, but they did fix the problem in the end

"Claim updates were fine, just a little confusing"
I filed a claim and, I mean, I did get updates, so that was good, but they felt kind of slow and sometimes I wasn’t totally sure what the update actually meant. I kept checking the portal thinking maybe I missed something, and eventually I had to call once just to get a clearer idea of what was going on. It did move forward in the end, so I can’t say it was a bad experience exactly, just not as smooth or straightforward as I was hoping.

"Replacement was approved, but the process took a while"
My appliance replacement did end up getting approved, so I want to be fair and give them credit for that. In the end, they did come through, and I’m glad the issue wasn’t just brushed aside.

That said, it took longer than I expected, and I had to call a few times to get updates. Some of the reps were genuinely helpful, while others seemed to only give very basic answers, so the experience was a bit hit or miss.

Overall, I wouldn’t call it a bad experience, but it wasn’t exactly smooth either. I’d give it 3 stars because the replacement was approved, but I do think the process could be faster and a lot clearer

I renewed my plan the other day while I was sorting through emails after lunch, and it was a easy experience. The renewal price seemed fair to me, and I didn’t have to go back and forth with anyone or deal with any hassle

"Refund went way smoother than I expected"
I asked Choice Home Warranty for a refund after my service issue didn’t pan out, i was bracing myself for some endless, soul-draining back-and-forth. But the rep was actually really clear about what they needed from me and didn’t make the whole thing feel like a giant ordeal.
It did take a little bit of time, but the refund came through just like they said it would. I was ridiculously relieved that I didn’t have to chase them down every single day like it was my new full-time job. Overall, it was a good experience.

"Fair payout and not too much hassle"
I was really expecting the payout to be a lot lower, but Choice Home Warranty actually came through fairly on my claim. The amount seemed totally reasonable for the repair, and I didn’t feel like I had to fight them forever to get it handled.

It did take a little bit of follow-up, but nothing too crazy. Overall, I’m really happy with how it turned out, and the payout felt fair. I’d definitely use them again.

Well... canceling my plan ended up being way easier than I expected. I called in, got everything taken care of quickly, and didn’t have to deal with a bunch of back and forth. The rep was decent too, so overall it went smoothly
